Indian politicians do not believe US will make the same mistake again. They are confident that US President will not send his Air Force to take out Iranian nuclear installation spread all over the nation and some buried deep inside the ground.

India came out strongly in favor of its belief - "In respect of Iran, I entirely agree with the Egyptian Foreign Minister that there should be no armed engagement. In fact we are against any coercive engagement," Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee says to media reporters in presence of the Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Abul Gheit.

India has little leverage on US and its actions. While India is eager to revitalize nonaligned movement NAM, India is widely recognized as a budding US satellite like Japan and Australia taking marching orders from Washington.

India can influence little the Bush Administration policies. All the current Indian Government can do is shout against military actions against Iran and opt for a closer nuclear tie with the West.
